About Form I-9
All U.S. employers are legally required to verify the identity and employment eligibility of all employees through the use of the Employment Eligibility Verification form (Form I-9). In addition, employers must maintain these records for three years after the date of hire or one year after termination. Employers can now choose to electronically store these forms experiencing cost savings, increased efficiency and greater convenience.
For more information regarding the electronic storage of Form I-9, visit the "Electronic Signature and Storage of the I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Form"
